WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE STUDIO

Warner Music Nashville's studio is located in the heart of Nashville’s historic Music Row. The Michael Cronin-designed facility provides a private, creative space for the label’s artists, outfitted with a fusion of new digital technology, legendary outboard processing equipment and vintage microphones that combine to inspire and fuel creativity.

The studio is designed as a multi-use media production facility: a music recording studio, equipped for tracking sessions, overdub applications ranging from single instruments to medium-sized ensembles, stereo and immersive mixing, and live recording; as well as a soundstage for audio/visual content production, including video and photo shoots, promotional liner sessions, media interviews, and livestream events.

TRACKING ROOM
DIMENSIONS
22 ft x 16 ft x 14 ft
WMN Studio features a mid-sized Tracking Room with a pleasing acoustic character. The architectural design incorporates a blend of absorptive, reflective and diffusive surfaces, achieving a harmonious balance of space and intimacy. The room’s size accommodates full rhythm tracking sessions, adding warmth and ambience to recordings of drums, piano, strings, horn sections, and choirs. Neutral-colored fabrics and classic oak adorn the walls, contributing a clean and versatile aesthetic for visual content capture. This space can also be configured for intimate live performances and presentations.
ISOLATION BOOTHS
DIMENSIONS
[ISO 1] 10 ft x 8 ft x 8.5 ft
[ISO 2] 8 ft x 5.5 ft x 8.5 ft
Two isolation booths offer acoustic separation during recording, each with its unique character and acoustic profile. The larger booth is designed to create a sense spaciousness beyond its actual dimensions. ISO 1 is ideal for focused piano, acoustic instruments, and tight drum or percussion recordings. Meanwhile, the smaller booth, ISO 2, is conveniently located just outside the Control Room, making it perfect for recording vocals or isolating a guitar cabinet.
CONTROL ROOM
DIMENSIONS
20.5 ft x 15 ft x 9.5 ft

The Control Room perfectly balances form and function. At its heart is the Neve Genesys Black G32 console, providing 16 microphone inputs with digitally controlled analog EQ and dynamics for each channel, inline monitoring, extensive routing, and DAW control capabilities—all within a compact footprint. The selection of outboard processing equipment includes classic models from Neve, GML, Tube-Tech, API and others.

The monitoring system features a 7.1.4 ATC speaker array, enabling both stereo and Dolby Atmos immersive mixing. Additional nearfield monitoring options are available upon request.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

The microphone locker features a selection of large and small diaphragm condenser, dynamic and ribbon models, including a vintage Neumann U 67, a Fred Cameron-modified Neumann tube U 87, a Wunder Audio CM7 S (U 47 clone), a pair of Korby KAT4 convertible tube mics, and other gems.

Two Avid MTRX interfaces provide 32 channels of analog I/O, along with accommodations for the control room monitoring system and Dante feeds from other zones within the complex.

Studio instruments include a stunning YAMAHA C6 grand piano, a Pearl Professional Series drum set, guitars from Fender, C.F. Martin & Co., and Gibson, and more. The complement of software tools is comprehensive, and includes complete product bundles from Toontrack, IK Multimedia, Plugin Alliance, and many others.

Connectivity extends beyond the studio itself. For larger sessions, two adjacent greenrooms/lounges may be used as additional recording spaces, equipped with mic lines, cue system, network and SDI connections. Furthermore, additional connectivity to Warner Music Nashville’s indoor and outdoor event spaces allows for remote recording of live performances via Dante or an isolated analog split, enabling the use of studio preamps independent of FOH.

The acoustic isolation between rooms and from external disturbances enhances the privacy and fidelity of music and visual productions alike.
