CMA Awards Vocal Group of the Year 2021 nominee Zac Brown Bandis topping the charts with their brand-new album, The Comeback (LISTEN HERE). The “thoughtfully crafted, poetic and bravely personal collection” (People) arrived as the Top New Country Album release and earned the No. 1 spot on the Current Country Albums Sales chart as well. The band’s “tried-and-true country rock sound makes a roaring return” (Tennessean) on the 15-track project, which also features their Top 3 country radio single “Same Boat.”
GRAMMY Award-winning lead singer, Zac Brown, boasts a co-writer credit on every song and co-produced the entire record, one that Forbes describes as “a return to the band’s roots and a reflection on the past year.” American Songwriter calls The Comeback “a vibe” as it’s “both tender and celebratory, personal and proud,” and The New York Times boldly declares: “Don’t be afraid to call it by its name.”
The Comeback is the band’s latest project since their 2019 release of The Owl, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 Chart and showcased the dynamic melodies and genre-bending sounds they have long been known for. The album included their hit single, “Someone I Used To Know,” which won a CMT Award for Group Video of the Year.
Zac Brown Band has topped the charts for more than a decade, with six consecutive albums reaching the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and five consecutive albums debuting at No. 1 on Billboard's Country Albums chart. To date, the group has won three Grammy Awards (including Best New Artist in 2010), sold more than 30 million singles, nine million albums, amassed more than ten billion catalog streams, achieved 15 No. 1 radio singles, and is the second act to top both the Country and Active Rock format charts. The band spent the summer out on the road for The Comeback Tour, which played to capacity crowds across the country and wrapped up last weekend at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
