NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (July 28, 2017) – Singer/songwriter Ryan Kinder puts his “soul-edged resonance” and “ace” guitar-slinging (Billboard) on display in the just-released Deconstructed Live Sessions video for his song “Close.” Kinder recorded the first installment of the brand new series along with his band and a pair of powerful voices at Nashville’s The Basement East. Audio from the session is available digitally now.

With over 17 million on-demand streams, “Close” has outperformed charted radio singles from some of the biggest stars in country music. CMT praised the track, declaring: “With vocals as powerful as alternative rockers Ed Kowalczyk and Emerson hart, Kinder stands out in and country music landscape.” Sounds Like Nashville, One Country and People.com shared the live video, the latter calling his performance “raw, genuine and real.”

As he gears up for an exciting few months, Kinder will continue to release Deconstructed Live Sessions videos and, with them, new music. He is set to participate in this year’s 2nd Annual “Record Store Day Crawl” in Nashville on August 26, performing for fans and music enthusiasts as they spend the day hopping between record stores across the city. On September 7, the rising star will play the first show of the Nashville House Concert series at War Memorial Auditorium alongside Martina McBride, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and more.

The Knoxville-born, Alabama-raised artist was named one of Billboard’s New Country Artists to Watch in 2017 and boasts over 23 million streams on Spotify alone. He has co-written with some of Nashville’s most successful writers, including Osborne, Ashley Gorley, Ross Copperman, Chris DeStefano, Tom Douglas, Jeremy Stover and Luke Sheets, and has shared the stage with Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Billy Currington, Brett Eldredge and Zac Brown, who personally handpicked him for the Great American Road Trip Tour. Kinder is currently writing and recording his debut album with multi-award winning songwriter/producer Ross Copperman and multiple Grammy Award-winning producer, Paul Worley.
