Warner Music Nashville recording artist Redferrin has grabbed the attention of many with his viral hit “Jack & Diet Coke,” including Tennessee native and rap sensation Juicy J. The pair recently teamed up for a hip-hop-flavored remix of the track (LISTEN HERE).
“I’m stoked to have Juicy J remix ‘Jack & Diet Coke,’ said Redferrin. “I grew up listening to Three 6 Mafia, so to have their trademark sound painted onto a song I’m so proud of is a bucket list moment. When we reached out to Juicy to do the remix, he hit back right away and said, ‘Anything for a fellow Tennessee boy.’ I still can’t believe I got Juicy J to hop on a country song with me.”
“Jack & Diet Coke” hit the ground running, quickly becoming Rederrin’s most-streamed song of his career with over 15 million global streams to date (averaging nearly one million a week). The song was added to SiriusXM’s The Highway and has been featured on many playlists, including Spotify’s Viral 50 – US. Redferrin recently got a chance to explore part of the inspiration behind the song, the Jack Daniels Distillery. Check out his vlog HERE.
Born Blake Redferrin, the White House, Tennessee native is bursting onto the scene as one of Nashville’s most unique and innovative new artists. Living just 30 miles north of Music City, he spent his first 24 years on the pegs of a dirt bike, chasing high-speed dreams with the throttle pinned and no kill switch. He earned a professional ride by the time he was 18 and joined the national Arenacross circuit. But crashes and injuries are a constant companion in racing, and they eventually catch up with everyone, so he began exploring the idea of changing direction. The singer/songwriter has already garnered over 45 million global streams and will release new music this winter.
