NASHVILLE, TN – (November 20, 2017) – Rising country star RaeLynn joined a lineup of other outstanding recording artists last night to help kick off the holidays as part of Macy’s 70th Annual Great Tree Lighting in Atlanta. The dynamic singer/songwriter performed alongside Grammy award-winner CeeLo Green, “America’s Got Talent” runner-up Angelica Hale and contemporary Christian band Casting Crowns. Prior to the festivities, RaeLynn visited patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to spread some holiday cheer.
“In the season of giving, it’s especially important to me that we can take time to spread joy. I visited with some amazing people at the hospital in Atlanta and was so inspired to see them be true fighters. I’m so fortunate to be able to do what I love for a living and blessed that my songs can bring some holiday cheer to others.”
Before she heads back to Atlanta for her RaVe tour on December 9, the Baytown, TX-native will return to her hometown and perform as part of Houston’s 68th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. She’ll be joined by the current World Series champions The Astros, Mario Lopez and Grey’s Anatomy actress Chandra Wilson. The parade routes through downtown Houston and begins at 9:00AM. More information available here.
The “Nashville spitfire” was also recently announced as the face of Too Faced Cosmetics’ Spring 2018 collection. Cosmopolitan exclusively revealed products featured in “Life’s A Festival” – including RaeLynn’s favorites like the Rainbow Strobe Highlighter and the Unicorn Tears Bronzer – available February 15, 2018 at TooFaced.com. She leads the charge as the first country artist featured as the face of a Too Faced collection, joining a unique curation that includes Katy Perry, Francesca Eastwood and Ireland Baldwin. Sharing details about how her relationship with Too Faced began, she chatted with People Magazine last month during Too Faced’s preview event in New York City.
About RaeLynn:
With more than 10 million streams to date, RaeLynn’s current single “Lonely Call” is the follow-up to her powerful first track “Love Triangle” from the Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville #1 debut WildHorse, produced by Jimmy Robbins and Nicolle Galyon. “Love Triangle” tells her personal story in a way that "is a raw and emotional account of what it’s like to be the child of divorced parents" (People Magazine), which media and fans immediately gravitated to, evidenced by the single hitting Top 10 sales per spin while the music video has racked up over 10 million views since its release. The remainder of the 12-track album, 11 of which were co-written by RaeLynn herself, is a broader look into her life over the past few years since her breakthrough on NBC’s hit show, The Voice. Recently selected as a 2017 “Country Artist to Watch” by Pandora, Napster and Billboard and a current CMT Next Women of Country inductee, RaeLynn has tallied 120 million plus cumulative career streams. She is poised to follow in the early success of her Top 10, GOLD-certified song “God Made Girls” that has tallied more than 940,000 track equivalent sales and has been streamed more than 50 million times. The rising star has earned numerous award nominations including the Academy of Country Music Awards’ New Female Vocalist of the Year, Radio Disney Music Awards’ Favorite Country Song and The Freshest! - Best New Artist Country, and most recently CMT Music Awards’ Breakthrough Video of the Year, her second in that category in addition to a Female Video of the Year nod. The breakout star has had several national TV performances since The Voice, including appearances on TODAY, Late Night with Seth Meyers and ELLEN.
