One of Seven Bands Highlighted in Entertainment Weekly On Stands Now
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (August 22, 2017) – Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville recording artists The Last Bandoleros are showcasing their musical diversity with the release of their latest song “River Man,” available digitally now. Written by the foursome and produced by the band’s Jerry Fuentes, the track talks of letting one’s worries go on the edge of a riverbank. The Last Bandoleros cast their own cares away during their signature show-stopping live performances, ascaptured in the song’s brand new official music video.
“We wrote ‘River Man’ about going someplace you love to reset whenever life gets a bit crazy,” the band said. “We’re excited to share the song and continue playing it live for fans.”
The Last Bandoleros (comprising Fuentes, Derek James, Diego Navaira and Emilio Navaira) received praise in the current issue of Entertainment Weekly. As “bands find their way back to Music City,” the group is highlighted as one of seven up-and-comers leading the way. Named a 2016 People “Ones To Watch,” The Last Bandoleros have earned acclaim from magazines and newspapers across the country. The Orange County Register, The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Houston Press and more have praised their unique sound and strong stage presence in live performances. The Tennessean applauded their “harmony-rich, high energy” while The Boston Globe declared that they “came out on fire and just kept burning.”
Fans can catch The Last Bandoleros on the road over the next few months. Along with their own headlining and festival dates, the group will start wrapping the year as they began it – touring with music legend Sting (full dates below). They will hit New York City next week (September 1) and take Nashville on September 14 for AmericanaFest, followed by their September 15 Grand Ole Opry debut.
