NASHVILLE, Tenn. (December 1, 2017) – Always looking for ways to help others through the power of music, Hunter Hayes officially launches “The Rescue Collection” today on Zappos.com. The five-time GRAMMY nominee’s inspiring track “Rescue,” released earlier this year, kick started the limited edition shoe collaboration, with the designs stemming from the David Garibaldi paintings created in the song’s accompanying music video.
“The Rescue Collection” features two shoe designs printed on Superga sneakers. Each purchase includes a signed copy of Hayes’ hand written lyric sheet in every shoe box. Hayes has partnered with Zappos for Good, the charitable arm of Zappos.com, to designate 100% of the net proceeds from the “The Rescue Collection” to the North Shore Animal League America. A bold supporter of music education, the multi-platinum selling artist is also donating select pairs from “The Rescue Collection” to The CMA Foundation for auction.
“We’re very excited and grateful to see this idea we had earlier this year come to life and have the potential to help so many people,” shared Hayes. “I am a firm believer in the power music has to help people and it’s been incredibly uplifted to see how many people ‘Rescue’ has reached. The launch of the shoe collection furthers our mission and I am excited to see the positive impact.”
Continuing the narrative established in Part 1, Hayes introduces the second installment of his three-part mini-movie “Pictures” today with the accompanying visual for new track, “More.” Forbes launched the mini-movie in November, additionally revealing the culmination of “Pictures” will occur early next year in a mini-motion picture event in Nashville complete with a panel with actors, director and screenwriter and a live performance from Hayes himself. Forbes picks up the storyline with Part 2 today, sharing “and just like that, you’ll love Hunter Hayes more in his new music video”.
Hayes continues to deliver innovative avenues to share his music with fans across the country. Follow along as he soon reveals audio for the third installment in the mini-movie ahead of its early 2018 premiere.
