Track Among Most-Added at Country Radio
As their newest song heads to country radio, Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville duo High Valley releases its official music video and shares what “Single Man” truly means to them (watch HERE). The Sean Hagwell-directed video was shot just outside of Nashville, the town brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel have adopted as home alongside their wives, and highlights something close to the hearts of them both: family. The familiar-with-a-twist visuals premiered today with YouTube.
“I wish we could take credit for the treatment of this video, but we can’t! Thanks to Sean for a cool storyline that really complements the song,” Brad said. “The moment we saw it, we were pumped for people to see this unique take on the meaning of ‘Single Man’ – and we’re excited for more fans to listen as it goes to radio today!”
“Single Man” hit radio as one of the most-added songs and has quickly earned early critical praise (listenHERE). Taste of Country asserted that “this may be the most rhythmic act in country music” and praised the song for its “foot-stomping, rootsy sound.” All Access noted that the “mandolin-infused, Bluegrass-inspired song stands out – in the best possible way” while MusicRow declared succinctly, “Absolutely play this.” Brad wrote “Single Man” alongside Derick Southerland and Jordan Schmidt.
High Valley have made their mark on country music both at home and abroad since releasing their debut major label album in 2016. They have already earned more than 175 million streams across the US and their native Canada alone. Their most recent hit “She’s With Me” became their first Top 10 at country radio and has been certified Gold along with their debut smash “Make You Mine.” In addition to their multiple CCMA Awards wins and Juno Awards nods, they were nominated for the ACM New Duo of the Year for their second consecutive year.
The duo has brought their collection of bluegrass-infused country tunes to venues across the world. Their touring credits include dates with some of the format’s biggest superstars, from Shania Twain to Keith Urban to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. They recently wrapped Old Dominion’s Happy Endings World Tour and spent the first part of 2019 on the road with Paul Brandt. Fans can catch High Valley this summer at major country fairs and festivals across the country.
