Debut Single “All On Me” Climbs Through Top 10 at Country Radio
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (February 13, 2018) – Taking the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart last week, breakout musician Devin Dawson has added a slew of new headline dates in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville and San Jose. The only country artist on Entertainment Weekly’s “8 Artists Who Will Rule 2018” list, Dawson is continuing to catch the attention of fans and critics alike with what the publication calls an “intoxicating swirl of pop, R&B, and rock” featured on his debut album Dark Horse. The project landed in the Top 5 on both Billboard Country Albums Sales and Country Albums charts and features his Top 10 and rising single, “All On Me.”
Always looking for ways to connect with fans, the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter has partnered with Samsung for “Doers Defying Barriers,” a one-night-only discussion and performance as part of NYC Unplugged on February 22. Dawson will shed light on his meteoric rise which has earned him a spot on People’s “Ones to Watch” list and ELLE’s Fall Culture Preview in addition to Artist to Watch lists by Huffington Post, AXS and Billboard. He will also share his experiences from when he made his national television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers the same week his “memorably melodic breakout out” (Billboard) “All On Me” arrived at radio as well as his elite status as one of few artists to make his TODAY show debut in both the 8AM and 10AM hours.
The Nor-cal native will head out with label-mate Brett Eldredge on his “The Long Way” tour this April. Multiple dates are sold out and available tickets can be purchased here: https://www.devindawsonmusic.com/tour.

About Devin Dawson
An atypical country artist, Devin Dawson’s approach to music is not different on purpose, it’s different with purpose. He grew up just outside the gates of Folsom Prison, drawing inspiration from Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Pulling from these influences, he began to write in a style that is definitively country. Dawson’s lyrics, full of romance and vulnerability and delivered with a distinctive saw-toothed vocal, draw you in from the first verse and keep you hooked until the very last chord. Since the release of his debut single “All On Me,” the California-native has performed on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers and TODAY, earning critical praise from a multitude of outlets including People, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, ELLE, Billboard, Stereogum, American Songwriter and more. His unique mix of organic roots and high-voltage country is showcased masterfully on his debut Dark Horse, produced by the daring Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town, Brothers Osborne). With a co-write credit on every track, the result will further establish Dawson’s building reputation as a dark horse set to emerge as one of the most exciting modern storytellers the format has ever seen.
