The Good Things Album Release Concert precedes the duo resuming their massive headline Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour this fall with new 2021 days. The 30-date trek, presented by AEG Presents, begins September 9 in Greenville, SC and concludes on December 7 in Boston, MA. The tour includes stops at the famed Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on September 16 and STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA on October 15. Alternative pop rockers The Band CAMINO and 3x GRAMMY nominee and multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Ingrid Andress will join The (Arena) Tour as special guests for all dates. The (Arena) Tour had major success when it kicked off in March 2020, selling out three consecutive shows, including two back-to-back in Nashville, TN. Following the sell-outs, The Tennessean stated, “Every song was greeted like a single by the packed house.”
Fans can expect performances from the highly anticipated record at both the Good Things Album Release Concert and Dan + Shay The (Arena) Tour live dates. Last Friday, the hit-making duo took to the plaza to perform the album’s title track (LISTEN HERE) for the first time as they headlined NBC’s Citi Music Series on TODAY (WATCH HERE). The accompanying music video for “Good Things,” directed by frequent collaborator Patrick Tracy, is also available now (WATCH HERE).
Good Things features 12 imaginatively crafted songs with breathtaking production helmed by the duo’s Dan Smyers. Less than a month before its release, Good Things is already proving to be another record-breaking album. Dan + Shay shattered ceilings with multi-week No.1 “10,000 Hours” featuring Justin Bieber, the album’s first single released in October 2019, which is the Top Streamed Country Song of 2021 so far on Spotify. The 4x Platinum hit had the biggest first-week streaming total in country music history and was the fastest country song to reach one million U.S. track equivalents in 2019. The worldwide smash spent 21 weeks at No.1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart (5thlongest run in chart history) and landed the duo their third GRAMMY Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, making them the first artist to do so 3x consecutively since the category’s inception. Dan + Shay followed with Platinum-certified “I Should Probably Go To Bed,” which quickly became their fifth consecutive and eighth career No.1, has surpassed 300 million global streams and has garnered over 1.5 million track equivalents. Their current single, “Glad You Exist,” recently became RIAA Gold-certified and has accumulated 800,000 track equivalents so far. The album is available for pre-order HERE.
