CoJo Music / Warner Music Nashville artist Cody Johnson released his debut single “On My Way to You” today. The track is the first off of Johnson's major label debut AIN’T NOTHIN’ TO IT, due in stores early 2019. Additionally, Johnson performed the song on his morning television debut on FOX & Friends All American Summer Concert Series.
“This song is about...truthfully, it's about me on my path to my wife. Maybe you'll relate to it. I hope you do," shared Johnson.
Johnson recently wrapped recording with producer Trent Willmon in the studio and is eager to get new music out for the fans. The album will be his first release on a major label and is the follow up to his critically acclaimed independent release which made its debut at No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart and No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
Johnson has enjoyed performing new music for the CoJo Nation while crisscrossing the country. In the last several months, he has sold out 23 shows in 15 states. These include markets as far west as Albuquerque, Las Vegas, San Diego, Sacramento and Salt Lake City, as well as up and down the east coast from New York City to Raleigh and Macon. In the heart of the country, he has sold out venues from the great lakes in Chicago to the bayou in Baton Rouge. With over 350,000 hard tickets sold in 2017 alone, Johnson sold out shows in over two dozen states making him a formidable force on the national touring scene.
Now with Warner Music Nashville as a partner, Johnson looks forward to sharing the new music with his longtime fans, as well as bringing it to an even wider audience of country music lovers.

About Cody Johnson:
With an independent catalogue six albums deep and nearly 300 million on-demand streams accumulated largely in the last year and a half alone, Johnson has established a rabid following of loyal fans who thirst for his unique and authentic brand of country music. The aptly named CoJo Nation regularly flock to sold out shows in over two dozen states and purchased over 350,000 hard tickets in one calendar year. Earlier this year, Johnson became the first independent artist to sell out the Houston Rodeo at NRG stadium with over 75,000 tickets sold along with over $250,000 in merch. The former rodeo bull rider, turned prison guard, turned budding country star is known for his explosive live shows and electrifying stage presence. Earlier this year Billboard declared, “Cody Johnson is the real thing.” His latest indie project hit No. 2 on the Top Country Albums chart and No. 11 on the Billboard 200.
