"Cody is a star in the country music industry and we look forward to hosting a packed house for what is sure to be a memorable night in Arlington on November 9."
Cody performed at Globe Life Field in 2023 as part of The American Rodeo and also played the former home of the Texas Rangers, now known as Choctaw Stadium, many times.
During his career, Cody has performed before massive stadium crowds as a special guest on tours with Zac Brown Band, Luke Combs, and Miranda Lambert, at Nissan Stadium as part of CMA FEST, and many rodeos and more. Among the rodeos were multiple appearances at the Houston Rodeo where in 2023 Cody became the third performer ever to sell out opening night following records set in previous years by Garth Brooks (2018) and George Strait (2017), with a crowd of 70,554 cheering fans.
Media continuously claims Cody’s headline concert performances are ‘career defining’ and ‘undeniable' :
Cody Johnson commanded the capacity crowd’s attention with a captivating performance that lasted nearly two hours and featured over 20 songs that spanned his impressive career.
Cody Johnson gave a career-defining show to sold-out crowd of over 20,000 fans, thrilling the CoJo Nation with his passion, showmanship, stewardship of country music and overall mastery of his craft.
Cody’s impressive set solidified his place as an arena headliner in country music, and further established him as a future icon in the genre.
It was refreshing to see a show on a big stage where the singer and the songs – not the production –were the stars.
Despite the large venue, Cody’s intimate connection with the crowd was pretty evident throughout his set. Johnson’s performance was characterized by high energy and raw talent, as he made full use of the stage, captivating the audience’s attention at every turn. His dynamic stage presence challenged that of Garth Brooks, solidifying his status as a true entertainer and a contender for the coveted Entertainer Of The Year award.
The night brought career milestones, special guests, passion-fueled stories, and unforgettable performances that collectively proved Johnson’s undeniable skills as a singer, songwriter, and entertainer.
Cody is next level and a born entertainer. An artist on the verge of superstardom.
Cody continues “Leather Tour” this weekend and heads into the May 16 Academy of Country Music Awards as one of the night’s most-nominated artists with FIVE nominations: Entertainer of The Year, Male Vocalist of The Year, Album of The Year (Leather), Song of The Year (“The Painter”) and Visual Media (“Human”).
