Nashville Mayor Megan Barry proclaims September 22 as “Everybody Day”
Music City show slated for tonight with “15 In A 30” Tour at Ascend Amphitheater
LIVE with Kelly and Ryan performance set for Tuesday (9/26)
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (September 22, 2017) – Chris Janson brings fans together with the release of his sophomore album, Everybody today. The 12-track labor of love positions the honest singer/songwriter for the next chapter of his career where he will continue to prove, “In short, Janson is an undeniable star” (The Tennessean). The critically acclaimed live performer will share his anthemic hit single “Fix A Drink” Tuesday (9/26) on Live with Kelly and Ryan. The album is available everywhere here: https://wmna.sh/everybody.
Janson quickly built anticipation earlier this week when Billboard exclusively streamed Everybody in its entirety for 24 hours. Listeners were treated to hit anthem “Fix A Drink” and the catchy “Who’s Your Farmer” in addition to deeper cuts like “Bein’ A Dad” and “Drunk Girl.” People Magazine surmised, “The popular country-rocker’s sophomore album picks up where his 2015 debut, Buy Me A Boat, left off: These are high-octane anthems about southern living” with Sounds Like Nashville concluding, “The album is a perfect mix of everything that Janson does so exceedingly well.” Janson collaborated with famed producers Brent Anderson, Chris DuBois, Scott Hendricks and Craig Wiseman in addition to writing with hitmakers including Ross Copperman, Casey Beathard, Tom Douglas, Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip and more.
“It’s here! I put my heart and soul into this collection of songs and worked with some amazing folks to put it together,” Janson shared. “I really hope you hear something about yourself in each and every one of these, because I made it for y’all.”
Nashville Mayor Megan Barry officially proclaimed September 22 as “Everybody Day.” Amplifying the celebrations, Janson will hit the stage tonight at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater for the culmination of Sam Hunt’s “15 In A 30” Tour. Performing Friday and Saturday night, Janson will solidify CMT’s assertion that he is “shaping up to be one of country music’s hardest acts to follow.” The gifted harmonica player will hit the road once again with his own headline dates on the “Everybody” Tour in addition to opening for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul Tour in October.
