Shelton to Celebrate Album Launch Tomorrow on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (November 2, 2017) – With just one day left until the release of his highly anticipated album Texoma Shore, country superstar Blake Shelton has offered fans yet another taste of what they will come to hear on his new collection of songs. This morning “Money,” written by Craig Wiseman, James Bailey and Ryan Ogren, became the fourth track of the week to make its world premiere. The lighthearted tune describes a girl who can make even a poor man feel rich.
“This is one of those songs that’s just fun,” said Shelton. “It’s meant to be fun, it’s ridiculous and it’s Craig Wiseman at his best. This is one of those songs that I’m just thankful that, for whatever reason, Craig [sent to me]. He always sends me a gem over for each one of my albums, and this song I think is special. It has the potential to be remembered for a very, very long time.”
Shelton’s latest world premiere comes on the heels of a packed few days. He brought the sexy to Late Night With Seth Meyers yesterday with new Texoma Shore track “Turnin’ Me On.” The entertainer also lent his well-known sense of humor and country vocals to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and TODAY, making live debuts of his songs “At The House” and “I Lived It.” The fourth time is the charm for Shelton, who will perform his latest hit single “I’ll Name The Dogs” in his final television appearance of the week tomorrow morning on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan.
Shelton will take tunes old and new on the road in 2018 on his headlining “Country Music Freaks” tour alongside Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and special guest Trace Adkins. Texoma Shore follows Shelton’s last album, If I’m Honest, which was the best-selling country album released in 2016. That album earned Shelton a number of awards, including Top Country Artist at the Billboard Music Awards in May. Earlier this year he became the first country artist ever to win the all-genre Favorite Album category at the People’s Choice Awards, along with the title for Favorite Male Country Artist.
