Warner Music Nashville’s Avery Anna made her Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday night (9/30) with nearly 60 friends and family from her hometown of Flagstaff, Arizona scattered throughout the packed crowd. She performed her breakout hit “Narcissist” before dedicating a cover of “Have I Told You Lately” to her grandfather, who was among those in the audience. Her version of the beloved classic earned a standing ovation.
Avery will follow last week’s milestone with the release of her debut EP, Mood Swings, this Friday, Oct. 7 (PREORDER HERE). Mood Swings further introduces the fan-favorite artist, who is known already for marrying her introspective pen with piano-driven country melodies and a youthful energy. The EP features viral smash “Narcissist” (LISTEN HERE), which has already topped SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown and collected more than 100 MILLION streams. David Fanning serves as producer on the project, which credits Avery as a writer on each of its seven tracks.
