Austin Snell, the rising star of grunge country, has released his highly anticipated debut EP, Muddy Water Rockstar, available everywhere today (LISTEN HERE). The EP, set to captivate listeners with Snell’s unique blend of grunge and country elements, showcases his raw and authentic talent. Featuring a collection of powerful and emotionally driven tracks, Muddy Water Rockstar encapsulates Snell's journey as an artist, delving deep into themes of heartbreak, resilience, and personal growth with his unapologetic approach to storytelling, heartfelt lyrics, and gritty vocals.

In addition to the release of Muddy Water Rockstar, Snell is embarking on his first headlining tour, slated to start later this month with the first show in Statesboro, GA. This year alone, he has honed his live show while opening shows for Jelly Roll, Bailey Zimmerman, and Nickelback, one of the bands whose influence led him to create his own sound.

“My musical journey started by listening to 4 CDs in my dad's truck. Fusing country and rock sounds, I created a sound that feels authentically me,” says Snell. “I'm so pumped to share my debut EP, which really pushed me in the studio, and very happy with how it turned out.”

With Muddy Water Rockstar, Austin Snell continues to push the boundaries of the country genre, blending grunge influences with his country roots. The EP showcases his versatility as an artist, as he effortlessly navigates between the genres, creating a sound that is uniquely his own. Snell's soulful voice and dynamic delivery, combined with the raw and authentic instrumentation, create a captivating listening experience that will resonate with fans of all genres.

The EP is another milestone in an already exciting year for Snell. He released a three-song project titled “Songs From My Phone” in June. In February, he was named the latest and first country artist to be selected for SiriusXM’s Artist Accelerator program and was also a “Highway Find” via SiriusXM’s The Highway. His previously released tracks, “Excuse The Mess,” “Get There First,” “Pray All The Way Home” and a cover of Cassadee Pope’s hit single “Wasting All These Tears” have helped add to his 90 million+ global career streams.
